Should union negotiations stall and a plant must close, AFI can be relied on to immediately provide a security detail to monitor ingress and egress based on previous discussions about the company's requirements. This special response security can also be important should the company be required to announce employee lay-offs. AFI will provide supplemental labour to help with the plant shut-down or removal of equipment.

AFI security personnel are highly trained and well qualified to make sound, rational decisions in less-than-ideal situations.
